Description:

Malham is one of the Yorkshire Dales finest expanse of limestone scenery. Gordale Scar, Malham Cove and the famous limestone pavements are features that attract thousands of visitors a year. Another feature is the beautiful Janet's Foss, a small single drop waterfall on Gordale Beck. It is believed that Janet was Jennet, queen of the fairies who lived in a cave behind the water. The foss is located in a small forested area on the Malham estate which has some lush vegetation and beautiful aroma's. It is well worth the visit.
